Escorts

On multi-lane divided highways
– Width of 15′ at Bottom of load or 16′ at top of load	1 escort (Rear)
– Length over 110′	1 escort (Rear)
– Length over 150′	2 escorts (Front and Rear)
On all highways
– Height over 16′	1 Front with High Pole (suggested, not required)

Police escort

One lead Police escort is required whenever the permitted load cannot stay on its own side of the centerline and encroaches upon opposing traffic.

Super loads

TRUNNION AXLES: Single Axle at 26,000, Tandem Axle Group at 52,000 (with bridge check), Single Axle at 30,000, Tandem Axle Group at 60,000 lbs.
WIDTH: 14’ 6” depends on route without escort(s), but always escort(s) when over 14’6”. If load/vehicle cannot stay on right side of centerline on non-divided highways, then a lead police escort is required.
HEIGHT: 16’0” when over 16’0” high. Physical route survey at 6” higher than permit height required to be done by move within 1 week before start of move.
LENGTH: May be required for excessive length; dependent upon route and vehicle configuration.
